Do I have to offer refunds to my students?

DropCourse does not impose a default refund window for your students.
You decide:

  • Whether refunds are allowed

  • How long your policy lasts

  • What conditions apply

Setting your own policies
We recommend you clearly list your refund terms on:

  • Your sales page

  • Your checkout page

  • Your confirmation emails

This helps protect you and sets clear expectations.

How refunds/chargebacks work technically

  • You control your sales and payments (DropCourse does not take a fee or process payments on your behalf)

  • Refunds or chargebacks are handled through your payment processor (e.g., Stripe, PayPal)

  • If a student issues a chargeback, it is handled directly by the payment gateway following their rules

DropCourse does not mediate student refunds on your behalf.
